Nicola Waldman

Nicola Waldman joined CKFT in May 2010 as a partner specialising in private client work. Previously, she was a partner and head of the private client team at a Central London law firm for many years.

Nicky’s practice covers a wide range of work including advice on trusts and estates, including complex estates and settlements. She advises on wills, pre- and post-death estate planning and issues relating to domicile. She will advise on, prepare and register Lasting Powers of Attorney, property and financial affairs, and health and welfare, and issues relating to Enduring Powers of Attorney and Advance Directives. She advises on inheritance and capital gains tax issues. She has acted for and as trustee of a number of charitable and private trusts and also advises on the creation of charitable trusts and schemes.

Nicky works closely with her clients, offering them practical solutions in a friendly and comprehensible way.

She is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners.

Previously a trustee on the board of a theatre company, she remains a director of the Independent Football Commission – football and theatre being her two great interests outside work, when she is not out walking with her dog.
