Joel Leigh

Joel joined CKFT as an Assistant in 1995, achieving partnership at the firm in 1998. He is now a specialist in commercial litigation with core service areas including partnership, professional negligence, banking, construction and issues arising from corporate insolvency. Joel has also successfully developed CKFT’s Personal Injury practice.

During his time at CKFT, Joel has acted in a variety of high value claims within various jurisdictions including the High Court, Technology and Construction Court and Court of Appeal. He has particular experience handling complex disputes on a conditional fee basis and frequently engages in methods of Alternative Dispute Resolution, which have proven very successful for a variety of client disputes.

Outside of work, family life takes up much of his time, alongside a lifelong passion following his beloved Arsenal.
